The Kynsna Oyster festival hosted South Africa’s first e-bike (MTB) event ever! I rode with my wife (Kerry) who, as most e-bike riders, was in her first MTB event ever!

I was really impressed with the positive attitude of the organizers (thanks Rotory Club of Knysna), as well as the spectators and riders. Everyone seemed to have fun, even though some descents were tricky.

Thank you to the organizers, I am sure this category would grow! For those keen on doing more e-bike race/adventures, you will begin to see that most events will cater for this category on the entry form.
