BH South Africa is commited to mentoring young mountain bikers

This past weekend Ray Wilson, owner of BH South Africa and Mike Augoustides of Mikes Sports handed over 10 brand new BH bikes to the Diepsloot Mountain Bike Academy. Both Ray and Mike are ABSA Pride riders who participated as a team in the ABSA Cape Epic 2016.

Ray said that “Hope, through cycling, is the fundamental gift that the DMA is giving these children and with it, the opportunity to have some formal primary education on site. Another surprise was that one child has had a shot at attending university and DMA benefactors have assisted getting others a trade, inter alia to become accredited sports trainers, chefs and bicycle mechanics. It really was a heart warming experience and I will always try support this movement”

BH South Africa is proud to be a part of the upliftment in this community and to give the youth of today the opportunity and chance to love the sport that we are so committed to. Hats off to Absa, the staff at the DMA and the numerous benefactors that make this a truly wonderful enterprise.
